Home Stretch

As I am literally working a top a 7400ft mountain in Alberta right now, my internet is shady at best  . Slowly but surely I am uploading new and old songs to youtube. Have had a great season but am looking forward to getting back to Halifax in about 4 weeks!

on being an artist

As an artist and creative person in general, I find myself fighting the urge to categorize my creations as ‘good’ or ‘bad’. What I’m trying to embrace is that creativity is an extension of who I am and rather than judge and critique what I do, I should rather let it go, the expectation, the ‘pushing’ of wanting it to be this or that. It is what it is and some will like it, understand it, get it and others simply will not.

It is harder to keep songs in, then it is to let them out. So many of them come to me, rather than me to them, and all I can do is give them a voice.
